The National Postal Admnistration, in order to promote the emancipation of women, has encouraged the initiatives of women from its staff who, have established an association called : "The National Postal Admnistration Women's Association", the AFEPO.

Its missions are :
- to improve socio-economic conditions of women working in the RNP by the creation of income generating activities;
- to collect savings and give credits to its members;
-to train and inform women for the improvement of their common knowledge in the fields of management, law, investment, AIDS, etc.
-to collaborate with national associations, NGOs and international organisations involved in the socioeconomic promotion of women in particular, and the family in general.
- to fight for for the taking in charge by the RNP of the women among its staff who are HIV positive.
